Whether they're framing the face or spiraling off the shoulders, ruffles build the foundation of a dramatic but not so dramatic evening look. These cascading and austere waves are more modern than the floppier furls of the past , making this feminine detail feel new ALL OVER again.

The ruffle trend has left a trail of admirers in its path. Sure, ruffles still imbue a feminine charm, but they also add a sense of drama.

To avoid looking too saccharine, opt for a structured or exaggerated flounce and work with a pair of tailored trousers and for a more sugary look go with delicate cascading ruffle dresses.
