They're not just bags!

Lets update your fashion lexicon! there are so many different types of bags, and all of them have a different name. here's giving you some help to know the different names of the different types of bags.

1) Baguette- relatively long from side to side, and small from top to bottom.

2) Barrel bag- cylindrical and resembles a barrel.

3) Bucket bag- roomy, shaped like a bucket, usually has an open top and long shoulder strap.

4). Clutch- small but long (if it has the shape of an envelope its called the envelope clutch.)

5) Frame clutch- quite rigid in shape and is usually

rectangular.

6). Hobo - large, shoulder carried, with a main compartment closure.

7). Satchel- similar to vintage school bags, top closure and top carry handle.

8). shoppers- rectangular, often in canvas, perfect for shopping.

9). Tote bag- very large, double handled and has an open mouth to the main compartment.

10). quilted bags- usually sling bags with topstich pattern.

The next time you enter a bag boutique, make sure you flaunt your vocab!
