Karl Lagerfeld and FENDI celebrate 90 years at the Trevi Fountain.
Fendi's Autumn-Winter 2017 Was held in Rome, its hometown, to celebrate its 90th anniversary. On July 7 2016, a unique runway show took place against the backdrop of the eternal Trevi Fountain.
The show, titled "Legends and Fairy Tales," was a magical story of an enchanted forest populated by beautiful creatures.Artisans worked for hundreds of hours on the garments made of lace, feathers, intricate embroideries and fur in an inspiring display of handcrafted luxury. The Roman monument had a transparent plexiglass runway stretched across the pool. Supermodel Kendall Jenner opened the show.Creative director Karl Lagerfeld has created history, the show was one of the most grand and unique fashion show ever.
